it’s about 2 weeks to pay day. minus the bills, the transport expenses, the study loan repayment, the money i gave my parents, the investment savings, and of course the shopping, i’ve practically wiped out my august pay. well, almost.
i’ve never spent so much in a month. but it’s okay.
i made my parents happy.
but most importantly, i made my mum happy.
A man came to the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) and said, ‘O Messenger of God! Who among the people should I be dutiful?’ The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: ‘Your mother.’ The man said, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: ‘Your mother.’ The man further asked, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: ‘Your mother.’ The man asked again, ‘Then who?’ The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) said: ‘Then your father’.
